JUMBO creative director Jeff Killick was recently invited back to SHARK PARK to host the FUN BALL RELAY.
Jeff use to coordinate all the match-day entertainment there almost ten years ago and was also the on field announcer.
He definitely looked larger on the big screen then he did ten years previously having put on a few kilos..but he still managed to bring the best out of the competitors & spectators.
It was a fun event and a good flash back for the guy who developed the game so many years ago.

Fosters showed their true support to the Country Rugby league recently when they sent the JUMBO footy to the game at Coffs Harbour.
The client requested to promote other brands within their portfolio via the inflatable footy and a new logo was branded.
Locals and footy fans got to meet the players and have a photo taken in front of the JUMBO ball as a take home momento.
JUMBO crew arranged delivery, installation and storage for the regional event held at Coffs harbour on the NSW north coast.

One of their largest players BIG WILLY MASON only just fits inside it..but it was custom made to meet the requirements of all the large players.
It can be seen at the at all the home games and adds character in the OLYMPIC STADIUM.
No other code or team in Australia has a run through tunnel like this!

Coles Myer national retail chain Office Works staged their second successful tech expo at 35 stores across Australia.
From Cairns to Sydney, Melbourne to Adelaide and across to Perth. JUMBO coordinated the 35 spruikers who were briefed on the all the computer and technical stock available within all their stores.
They achieved good sales and gave customers a nice experience. Prizes were distributed every hour throughout the day.
Personal interaction was the key as our spruikers communicated effectively the features and services available form the many computers and accessories in stock.

Flamed grilled chicken franchisor OPORTOS recently staged their national conference at the Sheraton Mirage in Port Douglas.
Yes it was hard to find JUMBO staff to fly to Port Douglas for five days to erect the two new OPORTO inflatables.
The conference was a success and JUMBO ensured the inflatables had maximum impact at strategic locations around the resort.
It gave the franchisee's a good understanding how they can benefit from the inflatables at store locations across Australia.

Its not everyday a client comes along and says "can you drive a truck load of cash?" Hill & Knowlton created plenty of hype when they dumped a tonne of balloons and $100 notes on Parramatta mall recently. It was a very successful PR stunt to launch the new OZ LOTTO game. The JUMBO staff tried their best to keep the punters controlled, but cash does strange things to some!! It was all in good fun and I got to tip the truck, just like the days of playing in the sand pit as a kid with my Tonka Truck!

The Sydney Garden Expo at the Domain was held recently in the Doamin. Barbeques Galore invested in a great outdoor display among many others at the expo. It was important for them to get some recognition and to create awareness of their link to this icon event. To enhance their awareness Galore floated a 3mtr blimp above the display which could be seen from many parts of Sydney. It proved a success over the three day event and became the "landmark" for those who attended.

The guys from TOYBOX recently held one of the best dance parties ever staged with our new rental Jack In Box inflatable being a major feature. Staged at Luna Park with thousands of party goers the Jack In Box had a major impact when he appeared to a choreographed musical and lighting display. Milk giant, Dairy Farmers recently launched their new branded bottles and cartons at one of Australias largest events "the Sydney Royal Easter Show". Part of the Office Works strategy to open ten new stores around the country is to create awareness within the local community. Jumbo has assisted with inflatable advertising balloons and a fun family orientated event.
With ten stores scheduled to open in six months around Australia it was important to implement the correct strategy. Jumbo were able to assist with A) The Family Event on opening day and B) The inflatable balloons to notify the locals.
With just one brief required per store Office Works save time as Jumbo coordinate all the activities to make it a "Grand Opening" event.
Jumbo will complete five grand openings for Office Works within 60 days before xmas.

National retailer Barbeques Galore are moving forward relaunching many existing stores and opening new stores around Australia.
Recently Galore threw down the challenge to Jumbo requesting four GRAND OPENINGS on the same weekend in Victoria, Perth & South Australia.
The client wanted Inflatable advertsing on every roof and a major family friendly event to run over the complete weekend.
Jumbo coordinated a team in every state. Working in conjunction with the Galore national marketing team and store managers, the weekend went over incident free creating great awareness & achieving good sales results.
The comment from the National Marketing Manager was "we have really put a sizzle into our promotion".The comments had nothing to do with the 3000 free sausages sizzled at the four stores during the promotion.

NIKE - PUT THE FUN BACK INTO FUN RUN

As NIKE prepare to launch "The Run That I Want" promo in AUS, Jumbo had the gig of manufacturing the START / FINISH line for the event. We were squeezed on production time but still managed to deliver one of the best inflatable event archs you will ever see. Thanks to their design team and ELITE SPORTS PROPERTIES, together we produced an enourmous peice of NIKE art. Standing 6 metres tall, 11 metres wide and nearly 1.5 mteres thick, with a huge 3metre heart in the centre, we were able to create a massive area for signage, branding & digital imaging. It all came together in less then 3 weeks working around the clock to ensure it was ready for the launch at the New Zealand leg of the promotion. The event attracted around 3500 FUN runners who paced their way around the course to funky ol' tunes like the "Grease Megamix" and "Your the one that I want". It was a fun day for all and great PR exercise for NIKE. The beauty about the event was .... you don't have to be a serious runner! It is expected over 20'000 people will see the arch over the next few weeks, not to mention free publicity in many media photos around the globe. This will easily justify the costs.

The Jumbo Events crew ran the half time entertainment at Aussie Stadium recently as Brad Fittler celebrated an oustanding career over 15 years.
Brad Fittler has played over 200 first grade games for the Roosters and over 330 games in an amazing career. He is now set to become the second most capped first grade player of all time behind Canterbury's Terry Lamb.

Andrew Short Marine needed something to get attention at the Sydney Boat Show at Darling Harbour Recently.
55' Cruisers valued over $1 million dollars draw their own attention but when you decide to launch a 25 foot bright orange blimp above it and a stack of Bowhead signage, it gets all the attention you want. Andrew eventually put some helium in the blimp which created massive impact and gave him an edge over all the other marinas selling luxury cruisers.
